Our current network covers most of the Wairarapa and parts of the Tararua Districts. If there are any signal issues over longer distances then you will need a bigger antenna dish. This will be confirmed at the time of your Line of Sight (LOS) check. All plans include a static IP address.

Occasional – good for those who don’t spend a lot of time online. Good for email and the odd bit of streaming. The perfect plan for holiday homes.

Everyday – good for smaller families and those who like to stream a lot of TV or Movies.

Unlimited – good for larger families with lots of devices who consume lots of content.

If you are on the Unlimited data plan then a fair use policy applies. This means we may slow down your connection if you use the service in a way that is overly excessive or unreasonable. This policy is based on how most people use the service and helps us make sure everyone using it, gets to enjoy it.

Premium – for those who want the absolute most out of their connection and don’t want any form of throttling.

Step Two Add ons Section

Do you require installation?

Install fee for a simple installation is $249.

This may include a radio, dish and cabling, and includes FREE wireless router. There is also an option to spread the install fee i.e. pay $99 up front and add an additional $15/month to your monthly plan for the first year.

Our installer may recommend additional wireless access points or cabling. These are optional and will be agreed prior to install.

Only choose “NO” if there is an existing installation at your place and you wish to re-connect.

Price estimate excludes travel contribution which is added on at the time of install.

Do you require a phone adapter?

Current charge for phone hardware is $125.

Optional extra to add a phone adapter to convert your landline number. Plus add call bundle directly with our VoIP partner from $11.50/month. This is not part of our monthly fee.

You can use your mobile or landline over our service with or without a phone adapter (see FAQ link at bottom of this page)

Port existing number?

A one off fee for transferring a phone number is $23.

By clicking the “Sign up” button, I confirm that I am expressing interest to get a WIZwireless service and I have read the Terms & Conditions.

I give the WIZwireless technician permission to enter the outdoor areas of my property for any technical reason in relation to my internet connection.

Once the installation is completed I am on a contract for 12 months. I agree to pay the Installer on the day of installation or within 2 days of receiving the install invoice.

A Line of Sight check (LOS) is required prior to most new installations and may include a technician’s visit to perform a signal strength test. If there are any signal issues over longer distances then you may require a larger antenna. This will be confirmed at the time of your Line of Sight check.

A fee of $99 may be chargeable in the following circumstances:

  • Cancellation of installation by a customer after a positive onsite signal test and agreement on install location and cable route
  • We are unable to gain access to a property to perform an install at a previously agreed time
  • Real estate agents or property sellers/purchasers seeking a broadband test prior to listing/buying.
